Prince Harry Makes Only One Appearance in Meghan Markle's New Netflix Show (2025)

Many familiar faces appear in Meghan Markle’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan, including her husband, Prince Harry.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, appears onscreen just once in the series, which dropped on the streaming service on March 4. He, along with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland and other friends, is a guest at a celebratory brunch Meghan, 43, is throwing in the finale episode because “I love a brunch party — there’s just something really charming about it and I think it’s a great way to connect,” she said.

“Of course, my husband will be there, my mom will be here, my best friend since college, just my community,” Meghan continued. “Having a brunch in the sunshine with the people that I love, celebrating this next chapter of my life.”

Later in the episode, she reiterates, “My mom’s coming today, my lovely husband’s popping by, great friends that are such a huge part of my life — so it should be fun and definitely no pressure, just a good time.”

“We’re not in the pursuit of perfection; we’re in the pursuit of joy,” she added.

When Harry arrives at the brunch, the two lean in and share a quick kiss. Meghan cuddled up to Harry and said, “Good, right?” about what he's drinking, to which Harry replied, “Well done.”

“You did a really great job,” he added. “I love it.”

With Harry looking on, Meghan gives a toast at the outdoor brunch on the patio: “I just want to raise a glass to you guys,” she said. “This feels like a new chapter that I’m so excited that I get to share, when I’ve been able to learn from all of you. So just thank you for all the love and support.”

“So thank you for loving me so much and celebrating me,” Meghan concluded. “Cheers, guys.”

“To you!” Harry exclaimed.

In a voiceover, Meghan said, “Just being home and connecting with friends, making new friends, I’m just so grateful for that — but also reconnecting with myself and just learning, right? I’ve always been curious. Sharing all those discoveries and everything I love with the people that I love — it brings me so much joy.”

The last frame of the show is Harry and Meghan hugging, and Meghan said, “To love. Can’t end on a better note than that.”

Though Prince Harry only appeared in With Love, Meghan once, he regularly visited the set with their children,Prince Archie, 5, andPrincess Lilibet, 3.

The Duchess of Sussex exclusively tells PEOPLE in this week's cover story: “Archie did the [filming clapboard]! Sweet moments. They would also come with my husband and visit me on-set, and I loved that my children were able to watch me working and see the balance of that and understand what Mama does and is working to create and share. It was really special because up until then, they hadn’t seen me at work."

Harry was also mentioned throughout the eight-episode series. In episode two, Meghan mentioned that the bacon she cooks “brings my husband and three dogs to the kitchen, not my perfume,” as she sings, “My bacon brings all the boys to the yard,” imitating Kelis’ 2003 song “Milkshake.”

Meghan also shared with Mindy Kaling that Harry likes salty foods and puts salt on everything she makes before even tasting it.

As the two women make a ladybug dish using tomatoes, olives and burrata cheese, Meghan shared, “Harry calls ladybugs ladybirds — that’s how they do it in the U.K.,” to which Kaling replied that Harry needs to call the insects ladybugs now that he lives in the U.S.

On the Golden Globes red carpet on Jan. 5, Kaling said of the Duke of Sussex that he “was there, but he didn’t cook for me.”

“I heard he’s actually a pretty good cook,” she said, adding that Harry “knows his way around a kitchen.”

Meghan confirmed this herself in episode five of With Love, Meghan, telling friend Kelly McKee Zajfan that Harry “makes a great breakfast” — and apparently scrambled eggs are a specialty, according to the show.
